Wayne Richard Williams

1919-2007

Wayne Richard Williams, noted for the output of his Pasadena-based firm Smith & Williams worked with San Diego’s Jack in the Box to design a key update to the fast food dispensary in the mid-1950s.

Wayne Williams was born on October 17, 1919 and earned his Bachelors of Architecture from USC in 1947. With Whitney R. Smith he founded the firm Smith & Williams in 1949 in Pasadena.
