SOLD: Ronald & Linda Cory House by Colin J. Lunt

The Ronald & Linda Cory House (1973-74) by designer/builder Colin J. Lunt is for sale for the first time since 1988. Ronald R. and Linda Cory purchased the land (in the Horizon Hills Estates Unit 1 development) on June 19, 1973 and began working with the local builder right away. Linda retained ownership of the home following her divorce and stayed in the home until 1982.
Colin Lunt was born in 1943 in New Mexico and the family relocated to San Diego in the late 1940s. He graduated from Grossmont High School in 1961.
His father, Henry “Bert" Lunt was a local builder and has been recognized as the developer of several homes on La Cuesta and Grandview (the street Henry Lunt was living on) between 1963-1985.
Beyond 5021 Bluff Place, Lunt designed his own home (ca. 1974) at 1531 Shadow Knolls as well as a 1971 home located at 1524 Shadow Knolls Drive. The latter home was featured in San Diego Magazine in October of 1971.
